“Kids Giving for Kids” – Car Wash Fundraising Event at One Planet International School
Project Overview (Introduction)
Driven by the energy and compassion of children, the “Kids Giving for Kids” car wash fundraising event was held in collaboration with One Planet International School to support the construction of our Integrated Child Development Center. This joyful initiative showcased how young hearts can make a big difference.
Objectives / Goals
- To raise funds for building the Integrated Child Development Center.
- To promote social responsibility and a spirit of giving among students.
- To engage families, schools, and the community in supporting early childhood development.
Target Audience / Beneficiaries
The direct beneficiaries of the funds raised are marginalized families with limited access to early childhood care. Participants included students, school staff, parents, and N4ED volunteers.
Methodology / Approach
Students led a car wash event where they actively participated in cleaning vehicles while raising funds through donations. The school community and parents supported and contributed to the effort, turning the event into a vibrant day of teamwork and purpose.
Impact / Expected Outcomes
The event raised vital funds and awareness for the future Integrated Child Development Center. It fostered community engagement and empowered children to become active contributors to social change.
