Project Overview and Objectives
In collaboration with WANDA’s founder, Ms. Tambra Raye, N4ED conducted engaging sessions with over 50 primary school students in Lycee Guebre Mariam and One Planet International School to promote balanced meals and indigenous nutritious foods. Using the #WheresWANDA book series, the activity aimed to educate children while promoting African food heritage and nutrition literacy.
Target Audience / Beneficiaries
Primary school children in two schools, indirectly benefiting their families and school communities.
Methodology / Approach
Interactive storytelling and nutrition education sessions using the Little WANDA book series to stimulate interest in healthy eating and local food knowledge.
Impact / Expected Outcomes
Improved awareness among children on balanced nutrition and pride in indigenous food traditions. Encouraged healthy practices at home and in school.
