A Season of Giving: Christmas Fundraising for Child Development
Project Overview (Introduction)
Silvia Baiardi Valenghi brought the spirit of the season to life by leading a heartfelt fundraising event and auction in support of N4ED’s mission to build an Integrated Child Development Center. The initiative gathered kind-hearted individuals and creative contributors for a cause rooted in love, care, and community upliftment.
Objectives / Goals
- To raise funds for the construction of an Integrated Child Development Center.
- To inspire community participation through art, culture, and seasonal generosity.
- To build awareness and support for N4ED’s mission during the holiday season.
Target Audience / Beneficiaries
Direct beneficiaries are young children and their families who will benefit from the new Child Development Center. Indirect beneficiaries include community members engaged in meaningful seasonal giving and volunteerism.
Methodology / Approach
The event included a charity auction featuring art, handmade bags, and service vouchers contributed by supporters which was powered by dedicated volunteers Dr. Mihret, Mamaye, and Tsigereda – Rose who ensured everything ran smoothly.
Impact / Expected Outcomes
The initiative brought in valuable funds, built new awareness, and fostered a sense of unity and generosity among donors and volunteers. It marks another strong step forward in N4ED’s journey toward establishing a center that will serve generations to come.
