A Weekend of Giving: Community Fundraising for a Cause

Project Overview (Introduction)
The Bluehen organized a vibrant and heartwarming fundraising event in support of N4ED’s community projects. The event brought together passionate entrepreneurs, artists, wellness experts, and conscious customers in a collective effort to create change through giving, shopping, and sharing.

Objectives / Goals

  • To raise funds for N4ED’s ongoing community development initiatives.
  • To raise awareness about N4ED’s mission among the local community.
  • To inspire small businesses and individuals to engage in socially responsible actions.

Target Audience / Beneficiaries
The primary beneficiaries are vulnerable women and children supported through N4ED’s programs. Indirect beneficiaries include the local community that engaged with the cause, gaining awareness and connection to impact-driven initiatives.

Methodology / Approach
The event featured a mix of fundraising tools, including a percentage-of-sale donation model by The Bluehen and partner shops, a curated auction of donated artworks and handcrafted items, and a free nutrition counseling session by Betelhem Lakew. Customers participated by shopping, donating, and engaging with N4ED’s mission.
