Strengthening Legal Support for GBV Survivors: Partnership with Ethiopian Women Lawyers Association (EWLA)

Project Overview

N4ED has established a partnership with the Ethiopian Women Lawyers Association (EWLA), a leading civil society organization providing legal aid and advocating for the rights of women and girls in Ethiopia. Building on an ongoing collaboration in Dire Dawa, this partnership strengthens the legal support component of N4ED’s GBV response by ensuring survivors have access to professional legal services alongside psychosocial and case management support.

Objectives / Goals

  • Improve access to legal support for GBV survivors 
  • Strengthen survivor-centered justice and protection systems 
  • Enhance coordination between legal and social support services 
  • Promote advocacy for improved protection mechanisms
