ALIVE Mass Sport Event – 2025

Project Overview (Introduction)

ALIVE is an annual mass sport event in Addis Ababa that promotes conscious living, family bonding, and community well-being through movement, dance, and shared experiences. Organized in collaboration with Hawi Dance Fitness & Entertainment, the event brings together diverse communities to celebrate health, unity, and social impact. The 2025 edition places a strong focus on mobilizing support to finalize the construction of the Integrated Child Development Center and initiate its nutrition program for children.

Objectives / Goals

To promote healthy lifestyles, strengthen community connection, and raise funds to complete the Integrated Child Development Center and support the launch of nutritious meal services for children.

Target Audience / Beneficiaries

The event primarily targets community members of all ages (families, youth, and adults) who participate in the activities. Indirectly, it supports vulnerable children and mothers through funds raised for the Integrated Child Development Center.

Methodology / Approach

The event features large-scale dance fitness sessions, interactive activities for children, and curated spaces that encourage participation and connection. Led by fitness professionals and volunteers, ALIVE creates an open and accessible platform where community members actively contribute to a shared cause while engaging in healthy activities.

Impact / Expected Outcomes

ALIVE 2025 contributes to finalizing the construction of the Integrated Child Development Center and supports the launch of its child nutrition services.
